Fahim Mashroor has been working as the CEO of AjkerDeal.com since July, 2011, when the company began its operations. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the organization. By virtue of his strong leadership & visionary planning, AjkerDeal has now become the largest online B2C marketplace in Bangladesh.

Fahim Mashroor who is also the CEO of Bdjobs.com is one of the most reputed Internet pioneers in Internet industry in the country. With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry of Bangladesh he led a number of very successful Internet ventures. Fahim Mashroor started his journey in 2000 as a very adventurous young entrepreneur; in 2000, right after finishing his study from Dhaka University (he completed his Graduation & Masters in Economics from University of Dhaka and MBA degree from IBA under the same University), he founded Bdjobs.com-the first online job portal in Bangladesh. Within 5 years of establishment, Bdjobs.com became the most progressive IT-based business endeavor in the country. Now the site ranks in the top five in its category in entire South Asia.

During this long journey, he obtained huge success by his honesty, hard work & calculated strategies. As a CEO, he always thinks out of the box; his visionary leadership & dynamic personality could convince a number of global companies to become partners of Bdjobs.com. Australian number one job portal, SEEK International bought 25% stake of the company in 2014 & they bought another 10% share of Bdjobs.com in 2018.

Beside his relentless efforts & hard works for Bdjobs.com & AjkerDeal.com, Fahim Mashroor is always dedicated to work for the development of ICT sector of Bangladesh. He was elected the President of the Bangladesh Association of Software & Information Services (BASIS) in 2012. He also served BASIS holding several other positions in different times. In 2018, he has been elected the prestigious Associate Member of BASIS. Fahim Mashroor was the convener for BASIS SoftExpo 2007 & SoftExpo 2011. He represented IT industry as a member of working committee that drafted ICT Policy 2009.

Fahim Mashroor is also engaged in some voluntary activities for social developments. He is a trustee and governing body member of D.Net -a non-profit development organization working in the fields of ICT literacy and promotion of ICT for social development. He was the Chairman of D.Net Executive committee from 2004-2011.

Fahim Mashroor is an inspiring motivational speaker. He always tries to motivate the young people through sharing his experiences. In October, 2016, he participated as a speaker at the very prestigious TED Talks organized by BUET.

What Makes Fahim Mashroor a Successful Entrepreneur?

He mentioned about three things-Honesty, Passion & Perseverance that contributed to his journey to be a successful entrepreneur. In an interview with the Daily Observer on 21st April, 2018, Fahim Mashroor said,

“Being honest still is an advantage. I disagree with them who say that doing something in honest way is impossible in Bangladesh. Also, Passion is your biggest capital, work for it with focus. Your resource and capacity is limited and it is used best when you focus. Lastly, never give up. Giving up is not an entrepreneur's style.”
